The Chain Valley Bay Centre caters for 26 children per day, the Woongarrah Centre caters for 29 children per day, both aged between 2-5 year of age. We do not restrict enrolment choices of families, therefore children can be enrolled from 1-5 days per week. Full rates are charged for 1/2 day sessions and bookings are secured on a weekly basis. 

The full rate before Child Care Subsidy is $102.00 per day. The Services are CCS approved, therefore parents pay a Gap Fee per day.

Both Services are approved for the Long Day Care Start Strong Funding, which provides eligible families with up to $42.20 off their Gap Fee per week.

Developing Dreams Early Learning Centres operate with above ratio staffing and offers a number of educational programs uniquely designed for our Services.

Families are required to supply nappies (if applicable), a nutritious lunchbox of at least 2 snacks and lunch, a water bottle, sun-safe hat & clothing and fitted shoes (at least packed as spares in your child's bag).

Each child receives a photo book and hat on enrolment, a mid-year gift, paid incursions and photos of their time at the Centre each December or when they leave the Service.

An enrolment fee of $70 per child or $100 per family is required to secure an offered position.

Separation anxiety is a well documented and natural stage of early childhood development. Our educators' professional studies and intrinsic desire to provide compassionate care for every child and parent reduces rates of separation anxiety significantly within the Centres.

Familiar staffing and learning environments are intentional strategies which promote comfort and familiarity for children. Your child will be provided a welcome booklet to assist their transition and familiarity with our Centre, and you are invited to share as much information about your child as you see necessary.

Photos and daily communication with educators will be provided to ensure you have access to knowledge about your child's day. Please contact the Centre or better still, pop in and say hello to the welcoming staff to help ease your concerns.

We have an extensive waiting list and encourage any interested families to place their names on this immediately. There is no charge for this.

In line with our Centre values of Relationships and Wellbeing, we prioritise placements for siblings of current or previously enrolled families. 

Positions become available only when existing families leave the Service, therefore it is impossible to give a waitlist timeframe.

Our school readiness program begins the moment we meet your child. We aim to build a trusting relationship to promote a healthy sense of identity which will be fostered through feelings of belonging and secure attachments.

The staff at Developing Dreams plan for the whole child, promoting confidence, emotional intelligence, effective communication and positive social skills.

We work closely with feeder schools to support children (and parents) during the significant transition from preschool to kindergarten.
